Challenge Me Monday!! Happy Birthday Robin!!

This week is Robin's Birthday and to celebrate we have a Birthday Challenge at Fantabulous Cricut!!
My easel card was inspired by Jennifer @ Memory Lane
She used this cut from Mini Monsters and gave this guy a shirt!! Isn't that very cool?! She also made some accents in his tentacles. I hope she doesn't mind me scrap-lifting her idea. We at Fantabulous Cricut try to inspire you and you always inspire us back with your creations!!

I used the cute octopus from Mini Monsters.

This Happy Birthday is from Simply Charmed and since I made this card for my daughter's cousin I liked the idea of putting his name with the Label Maker.

I took some craft thread and made this furry accent.
For the face I used the Peachy Keen Stamps
Wide Eyed Kids Assortment. I embossed this balloon also from Simply Charmed.

The party hat and the noise maker
are from the Sweet Treat Cart.
Maybe you can't tell but in the heart in his hat and in
the circles in his shirt I used Glossy Accents.
I hope you like my card!!
Don't forget to participate in this awesome challenge!!
Take Care!!

*Remember that you have until April 1st
to participate on my Giveaway!!

Easter Layout

I was looking through my scrap pending file yesterday and I found this photo and I came up with lots of ideas.
Whenever I have trouble scrapping a photo I just let it rest so I can look at it later with fresh eyes.
I am entering this layout on these challenges:
Yahoo Groups Scrapbooking PR:
Make a Carnation with the Cricut
Yahoo Groups Scrapbooking PR: Use a duck or chick
Let's Face it Fridays: Use a Handmade Flower
Frosted Designs: Use a Banner
Cuttlebug Spot: Use Twine

This little bunny is from the Paper Dolls Dress Up Cart and her face is from Peachy Keen Stamps.

This banners are actually left over from THIS big cut.
I've had these clothespins for a while not
knowing what to do with them.

This little duck is from the Once Upon A Princess Cart and that eye is from Peachy Keen Stamps Face Assortment
(I covered the rest of the face with tape to ink
the stamp then I remove the tape and stamp.)

I made this flowers with a cut from the Classic Font.

Even though this layout has a lot of things going on I like it.
*By the way Practical Scrappers featured
three of my projects today YAY!!

Dolly Layout :)

This layout is about my daughter and her favorite doll ever!!
I made it for the Getting Cricky with K Andrews Challenge
and the theme was "Sugar and Spice" and that makes me think about girls so I made a very girly layout.
For the scalloped circle I used Sugar and Spice.

For the Banner I used George and Basic Shapes
and the font is Cherry Limeade.

This dolly is from the patterned paper.

I can't resist the doodling and faux stitching... sorry!!

This dolly is from Playtime and her face is from the
Peachy Keen Stamps Wide Eyed Kids Assortment.
I like how the ribbon for the hair worked :)

I hope you liked my layout!!

Layout and Paper Dolls Hair Tutorial

This layout was from my baby's first blood analysis.
My husband took these pictures in his phone.
I wasn't there... I can't see my baby crying :(

I am entering this on the
Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge: Stitching

I did this journaling pad with half of
an index card and my crop a dile.

Nurse From Everyday Paper Dolls
(You'll find the tutorial for the hair at the end of the post)
I used my peachy keen stamps face assortment.
The page is from Gypsy Wanderings and I punched the holes and used some eyelets.

I did lots of doodling and faux stitiching in this layout.
I was trying something new here and I like it :)

Band Aid from Everyday Paper Dolls and embossed with a Sizzix Embossing Folder.

And Now for the Hair Tutorial...
Very easy!! You'll see!!

Follow the lines that the hair already has.

First marker I used for the first lines.

Then I use one that is a little darker.

The I use a fine tip brown Sharpie marker.

Then I use a black pen.

and ta-da!!!

I hope you liked the layout and the tutorial!!

Mother's Day Card

First Thing: I want to thank Nat @ Doodles by Noodles for giving me the Stylish Blog Award. I already have this award and I don't know what the rules are, I don't know if I get to pick my favorite blogs again.
If you know the rules please tell me :)

I also wanted to share one of the cards that I sent to
Operation Write Home.
Mother's Day Deadline is March 31st
so I made some Mother's Day cards.
I also did Easter, Happy Birthday and I love you.
I'll share tomorrow because is 1:30 and
I am so sleepy so excuse all the non-sense :)

I am working on my misting and stamping so I used plain white flowers with stamps and mists.
This tag is from Sweet Treats and I used a mist
I made with screen printing paint.
I used a stamp that Giny sent me on a swap :)
I love the feather ;)

I hope you like my card!!

Challenge Me Monday!! Tree-mendous Projects!!

This week's Challenge @ Fantabulous Cricut is
to make a project using a tree.
For my project I did two layouts.
In this first one I couldn't see the tree that well
because there is so much going on.
But I still really like it!!
(Yes, Halloween, on March I know, reallllllyyyy behind!!)

I got this tree from the Mini Monsters Cart but I think
it could look a little different since
I did some shaping with my gypsy.

The Dancer and the Super Hero are from
the Paper Dolls Dress Up Cart and the Cheerleader
from the Everyday Paper Dolls Cart.
The face are from Peachy Keen Stamps.

This BOO word is from Simply Charmed
and I also used my Label Maker.
The brad on the center I made it with my I top
and the fabric is a jammie that my baby had.
( but it doesn't fit :( she is growing)
I also did some doodling on the border of the page, the word, the tree and I faux stitched the paper dolls clothes.

For my second project I made a Three Kings Day Layout.

The Star is a Sticker and the tree is form Winter Frolic.
I embossed and inked the tree.

These Christmas Lights are from Create a Critter. I faux stitched the cord and embossed two of the lights, the one in the center has a patterned and I used Glossy Accents.

The word Presents is From Simply Charmed and I also used my Label Maker here.

I hope you go to the Fantabulous Cricut and show us your tree-mendous projects!!
Take Care!!
