No More Pictures Layout!!

Scrappy/Photo Fans Mothers know that sometimes
our kids get a little tired of pictures.
I want to share one of those
"Leave Me Alone, No More Pictures" Moments
I am entering this in the Frosted Designs Challenge:
Stripes and Polka Dots.

For the journaling spots I just used some blocks with a
Martha Stewart Punch.
The yellow block is a sticker that says
 " I'm not a brat!!I'm not, I'm not, I'm not"
and I used some glossy accents on it to give it a little shine and dimension.

This cute camera is from the Create a Critter Cart. I embossed it with a Sizzix embossing folder and then inked it with purple ink. I also used my Dymo Label Maker.

I thought the layout needed something else and I did some doodling in addition to the faux stitching all around the page. I tied some ribbon around the pink chipboard letters.

For the stripes I used the paper and for polka dots I made this fabric flowers with a black and white polka dot fabric.
(Thanks again to Myrna @ http://myrnamarcanocrafter.blogspot.com/ )

I hope you liked my layout!!
Take Care!! Good Bye April!! (That by went fast!!)

Beautiful Girl Layout

I wanted to share a layout that I made that is really not my style but I am trying to explore and I actually loved the Layout. I am particularly proud of the flowers that I made and I want to thank Myrna @  http://myrnamarcanocrafter.blogspot.com/ for offering a class teaching us how to make different types of flowers
and now I am an addict!!
(you can click on the picture to see it bigger)

The word beautiful is from the Home Decor Cart and
the tag is from the Sweet Treats Cart.
I split a frame from Gypsy Wanderings in half and placed them in opposite sides. I inked them with Royal Blue to make them stand out.

The word Girl is from Gypsy Wanderings.
You probably can't tell but I distressed the edge of the photos and inked them with a Martha Stewart ink Walnut Color. I also distressed around the pages with my
Tim Holtz Distressing Tool.

These are the flowers that I am so proud of!!
I love how they came out!!
I did it with 4 flowers from the Home Decor Cart
( I used the shadow feature)

I did a technique that was shown in this
month's issue of Creating Keepsakes.
What I did basically is applied a coat of glossy accents
 and let it dry overnight.
Then I put it on the freezer for like 30 seconds
(although the tutorial says 15 seconds)
and bent the picture to make it crack. The glossy accents go soft again so I repeated the freeze and crack part three times and then I inked it with the Martha Stewart Walnut Ink. Is a shame you can't see it that well in the picture but it really looks like an old picture.

I heat embossed some butterflies and the paper left over from the frame and cut them out. I just glued the center and bent the wings to give it some dimension.

I hope you liked my layout as much as I like it!!
Oh, I almost forgot to say that I am entering this in the
Cooking with the Cricut Challenge: Spring Flowers.

Challenge Me Monday!! Mom is the Word!!

This week at Fantabulous Cricut we are celebrating mothers!!
So go over there and celebrate those
special mothers in your life.
This week I have a special layout...
It looks like the average layout but for me is special because
I don't have any pictures with my daughter on her scrapbook.
I want her and her kids to remember who I was so
I am committed to make some ME scrapbook pages
I distressed all around the page with my
Tim Holtz distress tool.
The frame I used is from Gypsy Wanderings.
I made lines inside the page and the frame.

I made this little sign with Cherry Limeade and I punch two holes and placed two eyelets to put some ribbon through and to hold the ribbons I used two brads.
The letters were stamped with a
Stampendous Alphabet Stamps.
I inked the edges with Martha Stewart Ink.

The pink flower was misted with my home-made mist.

The "Forever" and "My" are rub-ons and the little pearls were made with the Viva Pen Liquid Pearl.
I stamped the butterfly in a patterned paper and I cut it out.

I made this flower with a strip of paper,
MS Scoreboard and a Border Punch.
The word mother is from Cricut Limeade.

I hope you like my layout!!
I would love to see what you guys create for this challenge!!

Movie Geek Layout

Hi!!
I made this layout for a challenge in the
Yahoo Group Scrapbooking PR
The challenge was to use something from Disney.
Like Dane Cook would say "I did my best"
In the border I did some doodling
(Which took more that I expected, but I like the outcome!)

The Title Movie Geek is from Cherry Limeade.
(Cherry Limeade is not the only font I have have I have
like 6 others but I really like this one)

This cool TV is from Slumber Party and I used some Glossy Accents in the screen and buttons.
(I looks better in person,
I don't know why it photographs weird)

Besides my daugter's jammies this is the only
Disney thing I could do.
I just welded three circles and I also doodled a ticket stub.
( I asked my hubby to buy me some and
he bought the biggest roll ever.
I will give some to a random person, just leave an asterisk at the end of your comment.)

I hope you liked my layout!!
Take Care!! Have a Good Friday!!

She is a Hoot!!

Emma's Throwback Thursday Challenge
this week is to use the Cricut Lite Carts.
I wanted to share this layout...
I've been busy with no time to scrap :(
Like Emma's stamps would say "I'd rather be crafting"
but we have to cook and clean and do all those "exciting things that we love" (Yeah Right!)
I got some Border Punches!!!! YaY!! I didn't have any and I bought 4 and the scoreboard.
Yay Martha!!
Jennie, just go to the layout...
This is a pretty simple layout.
I used two 5x7 pictures and not a lot of
embellishments or stuff.

This journaling page is from Making Memories
and is kind of a boy/rocker style but I had to get it!!
I also used a paper clip with a bow.
For the title I used Cherry Limeade and the stars are stickers.
I used my new Tim Holtz distress tool on the right part of the journaling page, on the photos and around the whole page.

This cute little guy is from Sugar and Spice and
I did some Faux Stitch.

I scraplifted this idea from Karin @  http://www.paperdreamsbykarin.com/
She uses this idea a lot and I've wanted to do it for a while.

I made this with my new love the Sew Easy!!

I hope you liked my layout!!

My daughter Ithamar!!

I am in love withe the Sew Easy!!
Is an amazing tool and is so easy to use!!
I also stitched the letters that I got from Cherry Limeade.
The cloud is from Create a Critter and
that butterfly is a sticker.

I love this sparrow and is from Indie Art.

This happy guy is from the Playtime Cart!!
I embossed the leaf and the froggie's belly.
I gave him googly eyes to make him look even happier.
And of course like all of my projects it has doodling!!

I love that flower trim I used it with my
 Xyron Create a Sticker!!

Challenge Me Monday!! April Showers

This week at the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog
the challenge is to make a project using an umbrella or a hat.
For my card I used paper that K Andrews sent me.
(I love it, Thanks!!)
The umbrella is from Sugar and Spice and I also used
Gypsy Wanderings for the Brown Frame.
I used glossy accents on the heart and the handle of the umbrella. I am not a big "blinger" but it works perfect here. The stamp is from Scrappy Moms Everyday Greetings.
I hope you like my card!!
I can't wait to see what you guys make!!
Take Care!!
