Pizza! Layout

When I was pregnant I had two major cravings...
Bananas and Pizza... Not Together!!
But my daughter absolutely loves both things if she sees pizza she quickly rubs her tummy and says "Mama Mmm..."
That explains the doodling around the page that says Mmm...
Since this layout is for the Purple Pumpkin Challenge
I was inspired by their style and how they mix and
arrange their embellishments.
I was also inspired by the segment "Stump Sandy" on the Operation Write Home U Stream Show (Thursdays @ Night). If you haven't seen it, people send her paper in an envelope and she grabs three randomly and whatever comes out of the envelopes she has to use at least a piece.
I used two papers that a friend sent me. I am determined to use all my paper I don't have a lot but I don't like to
have so much stuff around and
since my space is pretty small I just can't do it.
Back to the layout Blabber Jennie...
I also wanted to say why I love white backgrounds
because you may be a little tired of white backgrounds
but it gives me the opportunity to go crazy with my
patterned paper and embellishments.

The paper that was sent to me was the brown and the one with blue and green flowers.
Gorgeous paper unlike what Sandy gets sometimes...

I used the paper clip to cover a Doodle Oops...
I made the the pink rose and the green flower.
The green flower has a snapper button on the center
(I honestly don't know if that is the name).
The polka dot brad was made with my I Top.
The pizza is from the Slumber Party Cartridge. and
I used Glossy Accents on the pizza.

I also used glitter on the red parts of the pizza.
Here you can see the doodling a little better and you can see that I used a heart doodle on the red paper with hearts.
I used the same cut but smaller and the I top brad is the
small one, the other one was medium.

I used this sketch from Purple Pumpkin

I hope you liked my layout!!

Confessions of A Compulsive Doodler

I went to a crop on Saturday totally unprepared but
I knew that I wanted to do a Layout with this photo
and this ticket stubs. The day before
I was on You Tube studying doodling. And I saw a video
of someone doodling on pictures and
I thought "I really need to do that"
So while I was mentally lost I doodle dots on the pictures.
Then, one of the ladies showed a star punch that she got
and I liked the idea of the star background.
The thing is that EVERY element on this layout
has doodles on it...
I went doodle crazy!! I know...
(Click the photo to see actual size)

I used real ticket stubs but I doodled on them, of course...

I cut the title with the Cherry Limeade Cartridge
and I doodled the letters.
I also punched a little butterfly.

I used Elle's Studio Sketch on the left page but
I flipped the sketch

I hope you liked the hot mess of doodles!!

My Little Shoebox Fabulous Layout

Maybe you noticed that I'm not the kind of girl that scraps chronologically I just use the pictures and the products
that call to me at the moment. That is why
my daughter's pictures are very different sometimes.
For this kind of old picture, she was like 11 months I used the sketch and the products from the
My Little Shoebox Blog Challenge
I am also entering this in the Sketches In Thyme Challenge: Use Any Sketch

222099_1958324553950_1117842052_2394027_4351948_n

I used the Home Decor Cartridge for the flower shape.

The "Fabulous" Title was a little hard
to get out of the package but it looks great.
I also used some American Crafts Rub Ons
on the side of the word.

I used a 12" zipper and I filled it with
Flowers, Dew Drops, Pearls and some Bling.
I did some "Drops of dew" on the flowers with Glossy Accents.

I used three buttons with floss and I used the scraps from the Martha Stewart Border Punch with more Glossy Accents and glued them to the buttons.

I made this bow with tulle and on the center and
I used another scraps heart.

I used one of my favorite tools,
The Sew Easy with We Are Memory Keepers Floss.
This one is called Spring Rain.

I punched this bird with a 1 inch circle punch and then
I used glitter for the wing and used Glossy Accents
on the whole circle to give it a button look.

I had a lot of fun with this layout, I hope you like it!!

Only You... Layout

For this sketch I tried to use use some of my scraps
for some reason I can't seem to let them go.
Any tips to trim my scrap file??

I used the sketch from the Elle's Studio Challenge
I am also entering this layout on the
Scrap Fit Challenge: Use "Only You" on your layout.

For the little owl I used my 1 inch punch and the
glossy accents to give it a button effect.

I hope you liked my layout!!

Challenge Me Monday!! Blue Skies

This Monday the challenge at Fantabulous Cricut is to use clouds and the color blue.

The other day while I was feeling the joy of folding laundry (insert sarcasm) I was watching the Gypsy A to Z video that I won months ago. I don't get too much tv time but since my baby was sleeping and my hubby was watching the NBA I decided that it was time to watch it. It is an awesome video!! It doesn't matter if you are a beginner or a pro, it is so helpful!! Two things I loved specifically was the tutorials on doing borders and lace... Oh the lace... is too amazing, I'll share later. You'll see why I talk about Gypsy A to Z soon.

I did a layout of my daughter when she wakes up.
I never wake her up unless is getting late because she wakes up so moody. I always wait until I hear her talking because that means that she is no longer moody.

The butterflies are stamps from Close To My Heart
and I connected them with doodles.

Here is what I learn in the video. How to do borders and how to make them look good and not just do a line with things.
I used my Gypsy to do the cloud border
with Simply Charmed. The sun is also from this cart
and I used just one layer and I stamped the face with my Peachy Keen Stamps the Wide Eyed Kids Assortment.

For the Title I used Cherry Limeade and for
the "&" I used Rock Princess.

This little bird is also from Cherry Limeade
and the grass border also with the Gypsy technique using Paper Dolls Everyday.

I hope you liked my layout as much as
I love the Gypsy A to Z!!

A Bicycle Tale

Before showing my card I want to tell you a little story.
I've only had one bike all my life when I was 9.
Every year I asked my mom and Santa Claus
for a bike and got nothing...
For Mother's Day my dear amazing husband
bought me a bike.
The bike *of my dreams*  =D
A Pink Schwinn Cruiser and I'm in love.
Bad News is I suck riding it!!
As I told you last time I rode a bike I was 9 or 10 years.
I'm 24 and I sucked!! :(
*Lesson: Please let your kids ride the damn bike!!
I'll tell you if I get better... Please wish me luck!!

I made 10 Father's Day cards for Operation Write Home.
These are my two favorite.
I got this bike stamp and I loved it!!
I did simple cards with some embossing and inking.
The embossing folder is Tim Holtz.
The sentiment was printed on my computer and
I did like a wave effect when I glued it down.

That red paper is Martha Stewart.

Even thought they are bikes they kind of remind the Harley Davidson Style.

I am entering this card on these challenges:

I hope you liked the as much as I love my new bike!

So Alike Layout

Since my baby was born everyone kept telling me how much she looked like her dad. As you can see my DNA is made with water. She has the same face as her dad. I love this picture!!

K Andrews sent me these flowers a while ago
and I love them!!
How cute are they??

I inked and misted the doily.
(It looks blue but is actually purple)
All the colors of the layout came from the Basic Grey Patterned Paper behind the picture but I was special enough to cover the main inspiration for the colors.

I made the pattern in the pink paper with a stamp.

For this layout I used the sketch from Stuck?! Challenges
I am also entering this the
Frosted Designs Challenge: Use 3 different shapes

I tried some masking with a stencil that I made.
I used my home made mist.

I hope you liked my take on the sketch!!

Life is a Journey not a destination

Whenever I see something that I love I save it in my
gypsy for inspiration and I found something that
I really wanted to scraplift.
I am entering this in these challenges:
Frosted Designs: Ribbon
The Stamping Boutique: Lots of Circles

I distressed the paper and the circles.

I used different stickers for the journaling.
I wasn't sure about it but I kind of like it.
What do you think?

This tag was cut form a Prima paper pack.
The turquoise bow is actually threaded
in a transparent button.
All the circles are united by the Sew Easy Floss.

I hope you like my layout!!
