Challenge Me Monday!!... On Thursday... I know

Hello!! I know it says Challenge Me Monday and is Thursday but as many of you know I moved from Puerto Rico to Virginia and last Thursday I got my house :)
On Friday my stuff arrived to my new house.
I was really naive to think that I would be able to get my project on time but when you have a toddler running everywhere and you are trying to clean and accommodate your stuff is incredibly challenging.
I finally finished 98% of the things I wanted to do and I had to finish by myself because we had a problem with our house in Puerto Rico and my husband had to flew back on Tuesday.
 So it's been crazy!!
Is a little late for me to post my Challenge Me Monday but is not late for you to participate in our challenge.
The challenge this week is Spooky Time!!
Create a project with a ghost on it!!
I just started making my Halloween Treat Milk Cartons and I used an awesome tutorial of one of my DT Sisters, Robin!!
Is an awesome tutorial and hers turns out way cuter than mine so check it out!!

For my ghost I used the Mini Monsters Cartridge and I used Googly Eyes and they are from different brands so the color are slightly different but for this project it works.
I just closed the milk carton with a Binder Clip and I used ribbon to embellish a little.

I can't wait to see you ghostly project on Fantabulous Cricut!!

Today is Thursday as I said many times :) So today is my turn to post on Tombow's Blog so instead of showing the whole post I'll just give you a sneak peak. To see the whole thing check the Tombow USA Blog and remember to leave me a comment. This week we are teaming up with a fancy company so don't miss it!!

I hope you enjoy both posts!!
Take Care!!

Thought of the Day with Tombow

This week we are giving you food for thought and all the girls including me are making projects that highlight a quote or sentiment. If you want to see what Sarah made yesterday and what Melissa will do tomorrow visit the Tombow Blog

My quote is...

"And when it rains on your parade, look up rather than down. Without the rain, there would be no rainbow."
Gilbert K. Chesterton

This quote reminded me of my daughter in these pictures.
I love making double layouts, I take so many pictures that I want to scrap them all.

I started by double matting and doodling all the pictures.
For the incredibly big tag behind the pictures to connect the two pages I used a tag from Once Upon a Princess and I used Echo Park Paper from the Summer Days Collection. I outlined the tag and I also doodled the border of the pages with Tombow Dual Brush Pen Retro Set .

The transparencies and stickers are from Colorbok. To glue them I used the Mono Aqua Liquid Glue.

These boots are from the Paisley Cricut  Cartridge. I also used Glossy Accents to make them shiny like the real rain boots.

This umbrella is also from Paisley and the flower sticker is from K & Company.

I made the title with the Cricut Limeade Cartridge.

This cute girl is from the Once Upon a Princess Cartridge and her face is from Peachy Keen Stamps. I colored her hair with Tombow Dual Brush Pen Sets. I also faux stitched the umbrella and her clothes and made her shoelaces.

To highlight the word love I outlined it with a white pen and I used a transparent border sticker.

I hope you enjoyed the post!!

It's a Party week at Tombow

To keep up the Party from this week I made a layout of my daughter's first birthday but not the actual birthday. Is a picture of her at the store picking the theme of the birthday and if you haven't guessed we picked Minnie Mouse.

For the title I used the 1 candle of the Cricut Sweet Treats Cartridge and the font is from the All Mixed Up Cartridge. Most of the patterned papers are from Momenta.

For the doodling I used Tombow Markers and I also used them on the  candle flame and I used the blending marker.

This cute girl and the balloon is from the Paper Dolls Everyday Cartridge and I made the ears with the Paper Dolls Dress Up Cartridge and my Gypsy. For her face I used Peachy Keen Stamps  and for her hair I used Tombow Markers and the blending marker. I also doodle the balloon the with the markers. I embossed the little girl dress and I inked it.
This cupcake is from Sweet Treats. I embossed the cupcake wrapper and I used glitter glue on the candle.

Challenge Me Monday!! Decor and More

This week at Fantabulous Cricut we are decorating!!
The challenge is to make a wall hanging or a wall decor.
I learned how to make this cute tree from my friend Margie
Since I am in the whole moving mess I just bought a Patterned Paper Pad and that is what I am using for everything lately.
I made this for my little cousin Bianka.

This B is from Gypsy Wanderings.

I can't wait to see your projects!!

Shh... Layout

I made this layout for the Design Team Call of My Craft Spot
I used mainly the Alphabet Soup Girl Collection from
My Mind's Eye.
The solid cardstock is from Colorbok.

I used the punch outs from the Accessory Kit.
I used buttons on the flowers.
For the Shh I used the All Mixed Up Cricut Cartridge.

The are the alphas from My Little Shoebox.

Here you can see my doodling that I made with
Tombow's Dual Brush Pen Retro Markers Set.

I used this sketch:
Since the Accessory sheet doesn't have many strips I just placed it near the borders but I used a ruler to make them see like is a continuous strip :)

I hope you liked my layout!!
Wish Me Luck on the DT Call!!

School Pictures Layout

For the Throwback Thursday Challenge
we had to use a font cartridge.
I used Printing Press (talk about a Throwback)
which I've never used before.
I am also making this layout for a School Challenge
in Yahoo Groups-Scrapbooking PR.
This layout is to put my niece and nephew's school pictures.

I faux stitched the title and
I used the apple from Create a Critter.

I welded the shadow of the title.

I found this paper clip laying around and
I thought it was perfect.

I hope you liked my layout!!

Halloween with Tombow

Today is my first day with Tombow USA!!!
Remember I told you that I had news that would keep you glued to my blog?? Yay!! I'm part of the Tombow Design Team!!  So every week I will make post on Thursdays but be sure to visit every day for daily inspiration.
To follow the Halloween theme of the week I made a cute Halloween card perfect for a kid. I used mostly Basic Grey patterned paper.
This cute little monster is from the Mini Monsters Cricut Cartridge and I also used Glossy Accents and googly eyes to make him extra cute.
I made a bow with Black and Orange Twine and I also wrapped it around the mat. The orange tag behind it is from the Once Upon A Princess Cartridge.
This old little fence was cut from the Paper Dolls Dress Up Cricut Cartridge and I embossed it with a Tim Holtz embossing folder. I also inked it with brown ink to show the embossing detail.
I stamped an inchie from InkaDinkaDoo and I punched out with my one inch circle punch and then I punched a little scalloped circle and I layered the sentiment. I also used Glossy Accents on the stamp.

Happy Birthday Card!!

I love the Mini Monsters Cart and whenever I have to make a birthday card for a boy I try to use it!!
I also used Everyday Paper Dolls for the balloon.

The big asterisk is from Cricut Classic Font Cart.

For the little martian I used googly eyes and Glossy Accents
on the shoes, zipper and antennae.

I used a Scrappy Moms Stamp with white embossing powder.
Lately I like to mat the sentiments and I thought the brads were a nice touch.

I hope you like my card!!

Thanks Card!!

Happy Card Making Day!!
I know most of you have been scrapping your hearts out.
Not me... This thing about not scrapbooking until I move...
I don't think is going to happen, is weird
but I think I am having withdrawals.
I wanted to share this card that
I made with the Meow Cricut Lite Cart.
Can I brag?? I got it in $10
because Walmart eliminated the scrapbooking aisle :(
I've never used it and I was crazy about this cut!!
I made this card for my sister because she sent me
some Winter Clothes for my daughter since
I am moving and here you don't find
many tiny winter clothes.
However it got packed in move and I didn't send it :/

I used Scrappy Moms Stamps
"Everyday Greetings Stamp Set"
with white embossing powder.
I also matted the sentiment and used brads and doodles.

I used tiny clothespins and
I glued the inside of them so the cut wouldn't move.
I just glue the clothespins to the card to
make it more dimensional.

I hope you liked my creation!!
Happy Card Making Day!!
Take Care!!
