Challenge Me Monday!! Holiday Cards

This week at Fantabulous Cricut
we are making holiday cards!!
This is the perfect time to show us
what you've been working on.
Today I'm showing you three cards because I got extra creative and I needed them... badly, like I had no cards made,
 isn't that terrible??
The first one I made it with one of my favorite cuts ever!!
This cute monster from Mini Monsters
wrapped in lights from Create A Critter.
I got this idea from Momo
The tag behind all the projects are
from Once Upon a Princess.
The patterned papers are from K & Company.

The hat is from Paper Dolls everyday and
the lights are from Create A Critter.

I didn't know until now that I looked for Momo's card we used the same Scrappy Moms Stamp Set Winter Wishes.

This Gingerbread kid looks a little crazy but I like him!
The cut is from Smiley Cards.

The papers are from Momenta and K & Company.

From the same set of Scrappy Moms.

This girl that is peeking but is not supposed to be peeking is from the Playtime Lite Cartridge.
I hid the face with my Gypsy and used Peachy Keen Stamps.

The gift is from Simply Charmed.

The sentiment is from the same set mentioned before.

Let's catch up on out Holiday Cards and
show us at Fantabulous Cricut!!
I hope you liked mine!

Wise Guy Layout

Hi!! I hope you are done with eating turkey leftovers.
I wanted to share this layout I made of my nephew and I loved the result because it gave me license to do things that maybe I can't pull of with my girl.
I also came up with this type of doodling, I couldn't figure out the connections but I think the way I did it works.

The phrase Wise Guy is from Boys Will Be Boys.
I threw this rope around which was a bit hard.
I used some home made blue mist and black ink (very lightly)

I rescued this kind of burlap-y fabric from some piece that was covering furniture we bought and I loved the texture.
The ruled page is from a Rule Book that I had when I did my practice to be a teacher.
I made a mist with my Barn Door Distress Ink Reinker and I misted the page. When it was dry I stamped that pattern in three sides and I punched the left side with my new and awesome EK Success Edger Punch Binding Edge. The bird is from Indie Art and the tape is from a Martha Stewart Halloween Tape Set.

The checkered brads were made with my I Top. I mixed it up with Snap Buttons, Bling and a tiny regular button. The peace sign is an earring on top of a button.

This stamp is from the same set as the same I used on the border of the page. First I used the paper where I tested the mist and after some cutting I matted with black cardstock and then used some glossy accents.

I hope you enjoyed this post and come back on Monday to see what challenge awaits us at Fantabulous Cricut!!

Thursday with Tombow- Walnut Hollow Week

This week we are teaming up with Walnut Hollow and I got to work with a 6x6 wood panel that I loved. For my theme I was trying to do something vintage with a twist but I also wanted to do a inspirational wall hanging.

I decoupaged the frame using Tombow's Mono Multi Liquid Glue which worked great and fast. I colored my stamped images with myRetro Dual Brush Pen SetDual Brush Pens are amazing because I use them for doodling and coloring my stamped pictures. I actually just started coloring and I can't tell how how much the Blender Pen that is included in the Dual Brush Pen Sets helps, is amazing! For the tag in the center I used foam tabs to lift the tag from the center and for gluing the dew drops I used Mono Aqua Liquid Glue  which is the best for this since is completely clear. For the ribbon that holds the frame I used the Power Tabs each Power Tab can hold 6 ounces so to be really sure I used 3 Power Tabs on each side and it worked great!

What do you think about these
gorgeous purples and oranges tones?
This stamp is from The Angel Company.

The butterfly, the sentiment and the butterfly that looks like a shadow on the tag are stamps from Inspired By Stampin'

I hope you enjoyed my vintage with a twist project,
I sure had lots of fun making it!!
Happy Thanksgiving!! The Tombow Family is truly thankful for all the customers and followers we have!!

Shabby Chic Project with Joy's Life Design Team

This week at Joy's Life we are celebrating the ladies with shabby Chic Project for our favorite ladies. Of course I had to choose my favorite girl, my daughter, Ithamar.
You already know about my love for double layouts specially this kind of extra girly layout.
*Click for full size image*

The first part of the title I made it with the
Once Upon A Princess Cart and the second part are
alpha stickers from K & Company.

The pink background paper is from Colorbok and the one with phone pattern is from My Mind's Eye.
I also used the Daisy Punch from Martha Stewart.

The grass is from Paper Dolls Everyday and I used
Martha Stewart Paper and I added some cute little flowers.

This super cute house is from Sugar and Spice and I used
the Everyday Occasions Set from Joy's Life.
I just glued the center of the windows and folded the windows and for the door's doorknob I used a tiny bling.

The sun and cloud are also from Paper Dolls Everyday.
The cool sentiment is from the Lots Of Puns Set of Joy's Life.

I hope you liked it!!

Thursday with Tombow USA: Home Decor Project

This week at Tombow we are making
Thankful Home Decor Projects for Thanksgiving.
I did what I do best and that is recycling. I used some cardboard from a cookie box and paper from an old book. I used the Tombow Mono Multi Liquid Glue to cover the cardboard and then I used a ruler (you can also use a bone folder) to really smooth the page on the cardboard. After is dry (it dries pretty quickly, I didn't dry it over night)
I used a craft knife to cut the excess of the paper.

I used my home made mist (made with the re-inker of a distress ink and bronze paint) and some ART gold mist
to cover the paper. After it was dry I used Vintage Photo to distress the edges of the piece.

I heat embossed this flower with white embossing powder and then I used the heat emboss resist technique. I used Rusty Hinge and Barn Door distress inks. The "Thanks" word are letter stickers from Autumn Leaves.

I used rescued lace from another project and made this rose with Prima Paper and the other flowers
are from the E Line of Prima.

On the center of the flowers I used a red button
with an orange bling in the center and attached it
I also used some mist with the flowers.

I used my Crop a Dile to punch the holes, set the eyelets and I used some ribbon from my stash to make the hanger.
In this picture you can see a little better how shimmery it is
 (Is a whole lot shimmery)

For my project I made a small pizza box
with 3 tiny 3x3 cards.
I followed this tutorial.
For the whole project I used
Create A Critter and Joy's Life Stamps.
This flowers are from the E Line of Prima
but I used some of my homemade mist on them.
This sentiment is from the Wild Life Puns Set.

I did that little hole with my 1 inch punch
to make it easier to open.

In the box you can fit three 3x3 cards with foam tabs and everything and still closes great!!

The background paper is from Martha Stewart.
This sentiment is from the Barnyard Puns Set.

This sentiment is from Lots of Puns Stamps.
(The fox is my favorite, but don't tell the others)

The sentiment is from the Wild Life Puns Set.

The whole set.

I hope you liked my project!!

Getting Ready for the Holidays with Tombow

How do I get ready for the holidays??
To be honest I am always behind, except when it comes to shopping. I hate to be in lines for hours so I always do my shopping at the beginning of November. But I work on cards two weeks before Christmas. Since I don't do so many... it works for me. However, when it comes to scrapbooking Christmas memories I always do it the next year. This is the case of this layout, last years pictures and I just did the layout. The good thing about this is that I use things that I already have instead of going to the store to buy more things.
I used an old Momenta paper pack for this layout and the solid textured cardstock for matting and the blue background is from Colorbok.

For the doodling around the page I used the Tombow Blue Dual Brush pen #443 from the Groovy Collection and for the green circle I used the Green #195 Dual Brush pen from the Retro Collection.

For this Cute Santa I did some fussy cutting from another page and the title is a punch out that I matted. I used Tombow's Foam Tabs on the Santa Claus and all the punch outs.

I used dew drops with the Tombow Mono Multi glue on the I Believe in Santa Punch Out and the letter stickers are from My Little Shoebox.I also used some bling on the Christmas Tree.  Noticed the simple gifts? Well, this is the time to save money on gifts before she starts asking for PSP, DS and all the other expensive letters.

Have fun with your family this Holiday Season!!
