Challenge Me Monday!! Valentiny Card

This week at Fantabulous Cricut
we are making ValenTiny cards.
This means all the cards we made are size 3x3.
I love this size and as soon as I read about the challenge
I knew I was going to make a Pizza Box
with 3 Valentiny Cards inside.
This week Miss Emma Aguilar spoiled us with
her fabulous stamps that you can buy HERE

For my pizza box cover I used a girl from
Paper Dolls Everyday and for her face I used the
To go along with the sentiment I used my Tombow Dual Brush Pens to draw a chocolaty mess on her face and fingers.
Then I added Glossy Accents to add the sticky factor.
Look at her shirt... is not from the Gap... is one of the stamps in the 100% Sweetness Stamp Set from My Creative Time.

This cut is one of the reasons  I bought the Boys Will Be Boys cart and I really wanted to use it. Instead of the usual
round window I layered a heart from Sweet Treats and I added a little flame to the rocket and for these I
used the same stamp as in the girl's shirt.

This lips are a cut from the Indie Art Cartridge.
I used a scalloped circle and  I stamped the word LOVE in two tones of pink to make a pattern. The twine used in this project is the Valentwine Pack from Trendy Twine.

To make them really pop I used red glue glitter
and Glossy Accents on top of it.

This girl much cleaner than the first one has a lollipop from the Mini Monsters Cartridge. I punched part of a flower in the corner to make it look like a bite. Look at her pants!!  :)

Here is the whole set.

They fit perfectly in the box even though all the cards
have Tombow Foam Tabs.

Peachy Keen Stamps Photo Inspiration Challenge!!

This week at Peachy Keen Stamps
we have another fun challenge for you!!
The challenge is to make a project inspired
by this gorgeous photo.

When I saw this picture I remember this floral
Prima Sheet I had from a few months back.
I don't know if you are like me but whenever I have something that I really like, I hesitate to use it. Even when I'm eating I leave my favorite for last. I know, I'm weird like that.
When I searched for photos I found these pictures of my daughter being a diva. I didn't used all the pictures I had because believe me I had a few more. It was obvious that this was going to be a Double Layout but I only had one sheet and I had to figure out how to make it work with that.

The base of the paper is DCWV. I made this curves with the Prima Paper and then I made kind of a shadow with
that Aqua Cardstock from Colorbok.

I wanted to use the paper ribbon from Creative Memories at the bottom also in the top but I didn't have enough but I remember this striped chocolate/caramel patterned paper and I still had a little, enough to do both borders on the top.
I used a border punch from Recollections.

This chandelier is from Home Decor. When I saw the picture I also remember this cut and I really was going to make it work with the layout. The tiny alphas are from My Little Shoebox.

I forgot to include in the photo the rub on y used on the pictures but they are from My Mind's Eye. Maybe you can see them on the second photo. I used a little homemade mist on this doily and then added the floss. The wish tag is from Colorbok but it was too bright for the layout so I used Peeled Paint Distress Ink. The butterfly is a chipboard die cut that I inked with a little of Vintage Photo Distress Ink. For the green embellishment with the rose on the center I used my Epiphany Crafts Tool and vintage settings. I wanted to add a little extra so I used a flower, bling and some staples.

This really cute girl is from Once Upon A Princess and her face is from the Peachy Keen Stamps Princess Face Assortment. Next to her I used a Colorbok clear sticker.

I really liked the curves on this layout. It was a good thing I only had one sheet because I had to figure how to include the paper in both pages and this idea turned out great! :)

The Adore is a cut from the Home Decor Cartridge.
The doily behind it was inked and misted.
The arrow underneath the Adore is a punch,
I liked how it look doodled.

I used the mist lightly on the shipping tag and then added a Gold Mist from ART. I also used on the tag some floss, staples and then I doodled it.

I stamped this image in Prima Paper. This heart and face are from the January Stamp of the Month Set. I can't get enough of these gorgeous faces!! I used tiny flowers and I lightly colored the rest, I just wanted a tint not real coloring.

I hope you liked my project and
I can't wait to see what you make!!

^^YOU ARE HERE
Heidi Anne Giebel - http://gotscraps.blogspot.com

For my card I used the
January Stamp Of The Month Set of Peachy Keen!!
I am crazy about this stamp set is my favorite right now.
I just took out her wings and halo so she could look like
she was looking at the cake in the table.
I used one of the five faces that comes in the set. I also placed a birthday hat from the Sweet Treats Cartridge.

This cut is from the Simply Charmed Cartridge and
I hid the face with my Gypsy.

I made the banner with the Epiphany Crafts Round 14 tool,
I know this is not the purpose but if does both
things I can't argue with that.
For the sentiment I used Joy's Life Yummy Puns Stamps Set. First I used the light green and the I used the darker green to give the illusion of a shadow, I kinda like it.

For my skin I used the Prisma Color Markers but I am not a fan, I wanted to buy the Tombow Flesh Tones but my Michael's didn't have any and I had to buy Prisma.
But the hair, tongue and eye details were made
with Tombow Dual Brush Pens.

Cardstock: Colorbok

Thursday

Thursdays with Tombow!! I Confess My Love With Turquoise!!

I think I speak for all the scrapbookers and crafters out there when I say that most of the time the projects or layouts we make are for other people. We work so hard to tell all the stories about our children and family that we often forget about ourselves. Once in a while we should make a page about ourselves, that way when future generations see them they can get an idea of  who we were. I am the first one to run away from a camera, always behind them, never in front of them,
but I HAD, not wanted, HAD to take a picture of myself.  *cough* Tombow made me *cough*
Since it came out pretty decent I made a layout about
things I currently love.  This week we had to use turquoise, one of my favorite colors!!

These octagons are from the
George and Basic Shapes Cartridge.
What did I told you yesterday about this doodling style?! Loving it!!
After I gather all my supplies for a layout I start by matting
the picture, but instead of using just white cardstock, I used Tombow's  Dual Brush Pen to draw some stripes and then added the photo to do some doodling around it.

I used the Eye Stamp from Tim Holtz to replace the "I".
I felt the need to put the Love on something otherwise it looked wrong, like it was floating and I used a doily.
The word is from the Create A Critter Cartridge. This beautiful swallow is from the Indie Art Cartridge and both
were made with K and Company Paper.
I used the Mono Multi Liquid Glue Fine Tip to apply the black layer, which worked awesome because I didn't made a mess with the glue and it looks really clean.

In the bottom of the picture I made like a word collage
of the things I currently like.

This is one of my favorite Cricut Cuts EVER!!
Is a cassette from the Indie Art Cartridge.

This is a gorgeous Tim Holtz Stamps, one of my favorites too!!

For the gluing the rope I used the Mono Aqua Liquid Glue, since it dries completely clear you won't notice the glue. I also spiced it up with some bling and brads I made with my I Top.
I made some embellishments with my Spirograph
I love to make these, they are so fun!!

In the center of this one I used an embellishment I made
with my Epiphany Crafts Tool on a Vintage Setting.
I added the I Love that I made on my Label Maker because I printed it out a few days ago and didn't use it and it was just lying around and I felt that it looked good on the layout.

I added staples in each side of the rope and I made this rose and misted with my world famous home made mist.
I kinda wished I had used more mist.

More octagons on this side.

Look at all that dimension!! I love my Tombow Foam Tabs
Almost all of the embellishments were glued with the Mono Multi liquid Glue or my Stamp Runner Dot Adhesive.

Remember to say Hi! at the Tombow Blog

I hope you love my loving project!!

Joy's Life!! Family Challenge!!

This week at Joy's Life we are celebrating families!!
I've been meaning to scrap this pictures since forever but I wasn't really feeling anything and this week my light bulb turned on and this was the result.
As you can see I was veeeeeeeeery pregnant!!
I also like this layout because I haven't scrap any pictures of just me and hubby, although I don't know if this counts because technically my daughter is in the picture.

Almost all of the papers are from Colorbok.

I am crazy about this doodle style, did you noticed?

I used a scrap strip of paper with a Martha Stewart Border Punch added to brads to use the floss and added an embellishment I made with my Epiphany Crafts tool, a brad from Studio G and a punched butterfly.

For the phrase I used my new label maker and
this incredibly cute baby is from Simply Charmed.
The face is from the Peachy Keen Stamps and
I used the Just Baby Faces Assortment.

This super cute sentiment is from
The brads on the side are from My Mind's Eye.

I just love this stamp from the Wintery Puns Stamps Set.

I love this layered buttons in these colors to match the keys on the patterned paper and the ribbon is from the
Dear Lizzy Collection of American Crafts.

The title Miracle is from the Home Decor Cricut Cartridge.

This cute bird is from the 3 Birds On Pararde Cartridge.

I loved this challenge, I hope you do to!!
Remember to leave love for the rest of the girls at
