Challenge Me Monday!! Color Challenge

This week at Fantabulous Cricut
we are celebrating our #100 Challenge!!
To celebrate with us you just have to make a project using the Fantabulous Cricut Colors: Green, Purple and Turquoise

For my project I made a photo book for my
Sister In Law with lots of pictures of my daughter.
I used my Your Story Photo to make this book.
I embossed the cover and just used a few things to cover it.

On the doily I used the rainbow cut from
Once Upon A Princess.
I hid the faces with the Gypsy and used
My Peachy Keen Stamps, the Princess Face Assortment.

For my daughter's name I used the font
from 3 Birds On Parade.

I'm very sad to say that this will be my
last post with Fantabulous Cricut.
I've been on team for a year and I had so much fun and I made so many friends. I want to thank Robin and Amy for giving me the opportunity to be part of this amazing family.
I will miss you all so much and I wish you all the best.

I hope you like my project!! Can't wait to see what you make.

Peachy Keen Stamp Of The Month Sneak Peek

I hope you are ready for more sneak peeks
 because this set is ADORABLE!!
If you haven't signed up for the Stamp of The Month
you can do it HERE
The sets keep getting cuter so sign up and keep
your eyes open for the sneak peeks.

I created this scene mostly paper piecing
and with a little coloring.
The hills and the path were free handed but the
rest is thanks to the set of the month.

For this cute Gnome Girl I used Echo Park Paper
and Tombow Dual Brush Pens.

This cute sentiment is from the one of the Add On
stamps that Kathy created for this set.
They are sold separately so you need to check out those too.
The little butterfly is a doodle I made.

I paper pieced this cute mushroom house.
What until you see the set and what you can do with the doors and windows!! I added some tiny bling.

These cute mushrooms come in 4 sizes but I just used 2 sizes.
I paper pieced them and colored the dots.

For my second card I went with the same vibe
but I went a little more simple.

For this Gnome Girl I went a little bit more magical
making her hair and eyes purple.
I also wanted to look like she was hiding in
the pot to surprise the birthday person.
I colored the pot and then embossed it,
I love how it turned out.
Before I embossed it I used a craft knife
to slice the inside to slide her in.

This cloud is from the February Stamp Of The Month Set and on the inside I used a sentiment from the Release. I also used some Twine from the Valentwine Pack @ Trendy Twine.

Ta-da!! (also from the stamp :o)

I hope you enjoyed this sneak peek as I
much as I enjoy my stamps!!
Check out the rest of the girls too!!

Thursday

Thursdays with Tombow!! Simple Joys

This week at Tombow is Designer's Choice and
since I love making layouts all I needed was a good photo.
The other day I was going through some High School pictures and thinking about how things were back then.
So I made this layout documenting some of my favorite things at the age of 15. This is the first project using my new Cricut Imagine that my wonderful hubby bought for me on Valentine's Day. Thank God he didn't buy me another accessory for the phone, he used to think that it was a great idea until I told him that I didn't care about phones and that I could rock Nokia from 1998 and not care. (Which is not true, I love my I Phone, but I didn't want more covers, lol)

These two rectangles are from George and Basic Shapes
but the pattern is from the Imagine More Cartridge.
The Simple Joys banner is also from Imagine More.
My cut had all the layered individually cut and I used
my Tombow Foam Tabs to emphasize the title and birds.

The background paper is from the
Fine and Dandy Collection from My Mind's Eye.
The stickers I used for the year are from Echo Park.
The twine on the tag is from Doodlebug.

I used my Tombow Dual Brush Pens to doodle on
the blocks of patterned paper including the base.

This is one of the icons of the Cricut Imagine
that I cut and printed. I thought that it was a bit too bland
a little boring and I used my Tombow Dual Brush Pens
to make him more snazzy.

I used a page of a Roll Book to journal and for this piece.
I used my Tombow Dual Brush Pens to stamp the red flowers on the left. I also used some Twine from Doodlebug and to keep the bow in place I used the Mono Aqua Liquid Glue.
The alphas are also from Echo Park.

I matted the Roll Book page and added a
little bit of patterned paper.
For each topic I used some bling and I also used my
Epiphany Crafts Round 14 Tool and a paper clip.
On the Epiphany Crafts Bubble
I used the bird from the logo of the
Fine and Dandy Collection.
I made a pocket with the journaling tag to
put a shipping tag inside in case I remember more things.
The hand is also from the Imagine More cartridge and
I also used the #025 Light Orange to color some details.

The Imagine prints worked very well with the
Tombow Dual Brush Pens, I can't wait to try this again!!

I hope you liked my first project using the Cricut Imagine!!

For this friends I used Paper Dolls Everyday for the sun
and April Showers for the cloud.
The sun's face is from the Just Baby Faces Assortment
and the cloud's face is from The Cornies Assortment.

For the cute sheep I used the Princess Face Assortment.

Since they are very fashionable I used
tiny bling for their earrings and a twine bow.

I used a sticker from Colorbok for the sentiment and made a frame with Twine.

Aaaannnnnddd... I used my Action Wobbles!!
Is so cool!! My hubby kinda make fun of me because
I spent a few minutes moving the sheep.
I dare you to buy them and not be amazed!! Is really cool!!

Thursdays with Tombow!! Pencil Me In

The theme for this week is "Pencil Me In" and I came
across this awesome Digi Stamp from Whimsie Doodles
and I just had to try it. Did I mentioned it was free??
I am trying to pile up some cards
for Operation Write Home and I thought that this card
would work great for the cause.

I love Tombow Dual Brush Pens they are unbelievable
easy to blend, take it from me, when it comes to coloring
I am kind of a newbie.  I really wanted to use that green conversation bubbles patterned paper but I didn't want
the girl to blend in the green. So I made this pattern
and put it together with my Stamp Runner. For my cute girl
I paper pieced the pencil and I used Tombow Foam Tabs
to give it some pop and I also used
Tombow Foam Tabs on the whole girl.

Since this is an easel card I need that bottom piece to hold the card. If you knew that I would use Tombow Foam Tabs you are absolutely right. For the sentiment I did some double matting, which I love to do with sentiments because it gives it a little bit extra detail. I used twine tied to the red brads so I used the small Tombow Foam Tabs on the corners to lift it without interfering with the twine. To hold the twine and bling in place I used the Mono Aqua Liquid Glue.

Here you can see all the Dual Brush Pens I used.
I love my Foam Tabs they are super durable and
for this cause we need tough adhesive.

I hope you liked my card!!

we are having Fun with Puns!!

funny title or phrase on your project!!

I used a cut from the Slumber Party Cartridge
but I added an orange from Cherry Limeade
behind the word Soda.

The patterned papers are from Colorbok.

The twine I used is from Doodlebug and the sentiment is from Yummy Puns Stamp Set from Joy's Life.

We can't wait to see your Punny Projects

For this last day I made a layout
about my Mom and her Aunt Merin.
A while back I raided my Abuela's photo albums
and I took lots of photos to make copies.
I love these type of old school pictures.

Thank God for my mom who puts the date, place and everything except social security number behind her photos.
I used Authentique Alpha Stickers for the date.
I stamped these birdcages form the
Sweet Aviary Set on patterned paper.
The flowers are from the Inspired By Stamping Store
 Available now ;o)

This tag is from a Studio G Tag Pad and
I added some Twine from Trendy Twine.
Next to the tag I added a Rub On from My Mind's Eye
and on top of the 7 I used a Bubble Cap.

For the title I used American Crafts Thickers,
Authentique and K & Company Alphas.
The wing is Rub On but funny story haha...not.
Last time I used them when I put them in their package they were backwards so they stuck to the package and I almost cried because I really wanted to use them. Then I realized that I could just cut them of the package and that is what I did and all the wings of this layout are from that set. Next to the date I used a Bubble Cap from Epiphany Crafts.

The swirl under the title and the word Priceless
are also Rub Ons from My Mind's Eye.

My favorite flower next to my favorite birdcage :o)

On the birdcage I used a Bubble Cap
with a Bird from a Prima Paper Scrap.
The pink flower is two Medium Daisies Available at
Inspired By Stamping but I misted the flower with homemade mist and on the center I used a button.
I also used more Twine from Trendy Twine.
