Friday

My Top 5 of February

Thanks God is Friday!! Woo-Hoo!!
I got this idea to pick my favorite 5 products of the month to share with you at the end of each month!
This is my first month so if you have any ideas of what else I can include or do just let me know in the comment section ;)

#1 Sequins!!

I love sequins!! Put them in a pocket or just use them as shimmery embellishments around your project!! I like the ones in the big pack at Michael's, it kind of pain to sort through them but I like the variety of sizes. I also like the little ones from Avery Elle

#2 Dear Lizzy Neapolitan Core Kit!

My favorite kit yet! It has super cute colors and the filler and journaling cards are well distributed. (Unlike the Baby Girl kit which has very few filler cards and tons of journaling ones)

Love the fact that I can mix horizontal and vertical 4x6 photos plus add a little title and journaling.

#4 Avery Elle's Die: Avery's Alphas Elle-ments

I tried it with cork and it looks awesome!! I also love using the negative as much as I like the letters.

Avery's Alphas Die coordinates with Avery's Alphas clear stamp set

It is super super strong and can be used on many surfaces! It's transparent so it great with vellum!

Thursdays with Tombow: Meeting Baby

Happy Thursday! I have another Project Life Spread! I know Project Lifers LOVE Tombow! Whenever I check out the Project Life Hashtag on Instagram I see lots of you out there using our products! If you are one of those remember to follow us @tombowusa

For gluing my photos I use the Tombow Mono Adhesive Permanent. To glue the hospital Bracelets I used the New Tombow Xtreme Permanent Adhesive and next to the bulky part of the bracelet I used Tombow Power Tabs. On this side I used Desing G and cards from Dear Lizzy Polka Dot Party, 5th and Frolic and Neapolitan.

These are my favorite Thickers but they don't glue really well (bargain Thickers) so I use my Tombow Mono Adhesive Permanent

This is Design A and I used cards from the same kits I mentioned before.

I used an Amy Tangerine stitching template for this title.

As always I used some of my favorites: enamel dots and washi tape.

To glue this Cameo Silhouette die cut I used the Mono Adhesive Permanent.

I hope you enjoyed this post!

Monday

Epiphany Crafts:Scallop Week!

Happy Monday! This is Jennie and this week we are showcasing the Shape Studio Scalloped Circle 25 Tool! The Epiphany Crafts tools are great for Project Life. They add a little bit of detail without being too bulky like flair buttons.

I used the Scalloped Circle tool with pattern paper from Fancy Pants Designs and tiny words stickers from October Afternoon.

This side is about her first bath.

On the bottom you can see the gorgeous arrangement Tombow sent me when I had my baby.

I documented my daughter's first visit to the doctor. The photo on the left has a filter. I used some little splatters of mist on these cards.

The incredibly tiny letter stickers are from Kaisercraft and they are as a big as the head on a pin.

I stapled some sequins on some of the cards with the Tim Holtz Tiny Stapler.

I used some Simple Stories Sn@p Stickers.

I used a small Smash bag to keep the balloon in. I just punched a hole on the bag.

Thursday

Thursdays with Tombow: Colorful Life

Happy Thursday! Today I am sharing a spread from my daughter's baby album and it's my favorite so far! I glued all the photos with the Mono Adhesive Permanent!

I used Design A for this side and cards from the Dear Lizzy Neapolitan Collection and the one with the frames (my favorite one) is from Polka Dot Party.

For this side I used Design H.

I already said that this was my favorite one!! This card comes with plain frames but I used the Tombow Dual Brush Pens and the Tombow Irojiten Pens to color all the frames. On the center of the frames I used heart shapes that I glued with the Mono Permanent Adhesive. I also used Vellum!! If you are a fan of vellum you know how hard it is to find an adhesive that doesn't show. Don't look anymore the Xtreme High Performance Adhesive works amazing with vellum!! I was super excited to discover that!!

For all my photos I used the Mono Adhesive Permanent

I used almost 20 Enamel Dots on this spread! Don't judge, enamel dots it's one of my staples!

I used a Smash plastic bag to put some cards and tickets of my hospital stay .

This is a bi-fold card that I used to write more stuff inside.

I also added a Sn@p 6x8 page protector to add my daughter's baby hat and a sign.

This is a view with the 6x8 protector in the middle.

I sealed the top with washi tape because I cut a 6x8 page but the protector is actually a little big. One of the NICU nurses made this for my baby and I just glued it, with the Mono Adhesive Permanent, to piece of Dear Lizzy Neapolitan Cardstock.

*Quick Tip for those of you that print or type your journaling! I like the to use the Tombow Removable Adhesive to put my labels on a paper while I type on my typewriter or when I print the journaling on my computer. When you are done it comes off easily by just rubbing it!

I used the Tombow Power Tabs to hold the baby hat in place!

I even put a few on the antennae.

I am linking this up to the Paper Issues Color By Numbers Challenge! Since it has so many colors, I kind of have to! ;)

I know it is a very photo heavy post so if you are still with me thanks so much!
I hope you enjoyed it!
