Parks and Recreation Blog Hop

Hi and Welcome to the Parks and Recreation Blog!
To be honest with you, I've never watched the show before hearing of this hop but I watched a few episodes at it was really funny! Amy Poehler, do I need to say more?! And obviously the sarcastic sort of mean but hilarious chick, Aubrey Plaza. Just watch it! Is not on ESPN or any Junior Challenge so it was rest for me!

For my first project I made an "April" card. Whatever that means. To glue everything including the sequins I used the NEW Tombow Xtreme Adhesive. I will be giving one of these away!

I colored everything with the Tombow Dual Brush Pens. The girl stamp is from the Greeting Farm.

For my second project I wrote an "inspirational" quote.

I wrote the quote with a Drawing Pencil first and then I went over it with the Tombow Mono Twin Permanent Marker. I used the Tombow Mono Eraser to get rid of pencil marks.

I added some color to the letters with the Tombow Dual Brush Pens.

For the lines inside the letters I used a fine pen.

I will be giving away a Tombow Xtreme Permanent Adhesive!
Just leave a comment! Remember to Like Tombow USA on Facebook. Since you will be on Facebook you could Like my Facebook Page: Earthy Scrap!

Project Life Bog Hop

Hi and Welcome to the Project Life Blog Hop!
You probably came from Kelsey's Blog!
If you stumbled across my blog go to Katina's Blog to start!

Most of the cards are from Echo Park, except for the title cards.

I love using Design F, it lets me use many photos on a spread without it looking too crowded.

I made the title cards with Dear Lizzy's Daydreamer 6x6 paper pad. On the center I used a piece of vellum. I used the eraser of a pencil and inks to make the dots. I colored a frame, from a Dear Lizzy Paper Pad, using Tombow Dual Brush Pens. The word "HOME" and the yellow frame are from Pinkfresh Studio.

On this one I used Thickers for the title, a flair from Two Peas in a Bucket, a die cut using a Pinkfresh Studio Die, and a label I found free online.

This is the end of the hop! I hope you had a good time!
Leave a comment for the chance to win an embellishment pack for your projects! It's something simple put together by me. :)

Tombow Challenge: Books!

Happy Monday! It's time for Tombow's Monthly Challenge and for the month of September, I will be your host! September 6th was Read a Book Day and September 8th was International Literacy Day! We are big fans of books in my house! If you haven't guessed, the challenge for this month is BOOKS! Anything related with books; altered books, quotes from your favorite books, library cards, book paper, mini books! The sky is the limit!

For my project I made a mini book full with quotes!

I made the cover with old records I got at Goodwill for 50 cents! I have to admit that it was a huge pain cutting them! First you have to heat them at 200 degrees in the oven for 60-90 SECONDS. Then you have to cut fast fast because they get cold and hard again! You can always put them back in the oven for another 60 seconds to keep cutting. *Mind the fumes! Do it in a ventilated area.

I used my Bind It All to Bind my book. I had to make the record really soft for my Bind it All to go through with it!

I made my book "junk" style which means that I mixed up lots of different papers, envelopes, tags and everything else I could find.

To glue the embellishments on the cover I used the Tombow Xtreme Permanent Adhesive. Since the flair button is hollow on the back I used a Tombow Power Tab.

I made this charm with and Epiphany Crafts Tool and Metal Charm. To glue the epoxy shape on the metal I used the Tombow Xtreme Permanent Adhesive and to glue the sequins inside the epoxy I used the Tombow Mono Aqua Liquid Glue.

*This part is photo heavy but it will inspire you to do this challenge! Feel free to copy one of the quotes if you find one that inspires you!

This book has lots of pages so I didn't photographed ALL of them because that would be one heck of a post!

For the page on the left I used a watercolor technique on the background using the Tombow Dual Brush Pens. I wrote "darling' using one of my favorite pens ever the Tombow Mono Twin Permanent.

I used lots of recycled postal stamps to embellish. To glue these I used the Tombow Mono Adhesive Permanent

I always glue my homemade enamel dots with the Tombow Mono Multi Liquid Glue. The fox flair has a flat back and for those I used the Tombow Xtreme Permanent Adhesive.

I made this library pocket and I sewed on the sides to embellish it. But before I sew on my project I use to glue so it doesn't move.

I follow some really cool people on Instagram that do found poetry so I thought I would try it and ehhh... Don't worry, I'll stick to paper crafting.

So there is your challenge!
Hit the books and then link up your project

Tombow USA Blog Hop with Guest Designer Diana Larson

Hi and Welcome to the Tombow USA Fun Fall Hop
You probably go there from Melissa's Blog but if you stumbled across my blog go to the Tombow USA Blog to start!

Fall means pumpkin season!! Pumpkin Lattes, Pumpkin Candles and God knows why Pumpkin Oreos! (seriously Nabisco?!)
I made a Pumpkin Carving Project Life Spread!

I used cards from the Honey Core Kit, Sunshine, Midnight an Kiwi.

I love the Tombow Xtreme Permanent Adhesive! Because I used it with all kind of embellishments like this big metal flair button or wood veneers like in the next photo!

To glue these handmade Enamel Dots I used the Tombow Mono Multi Liquid Glue. I love these tickets from Fancy Pants Designs and I glued them with the Tombow Mono Permanent Adhesive.

The Tombow Xtreme Permanent Adhesive is also clear so you can use it in plastic embellishments like the arrow.

I took so many photos that I had to add an insert.

For the Pinkfresh Studio star on the bottom photo I used the Tombow Xtreme Permanent Adhesive.

Not too bad for our first pumpkin carving, right?

Of course, hop means prizes too!

The Prize includes:

In order to be qualified to win this amazing PRIZE, PLEASE comment on each of the designers projects.

You came here from the Pinkfresh Studio Blog and if you didn't, go to their blog to start the hop!

My first project is a Project Life Spread.

A few of the PinkFresh Studio Embellishments like the transparent cards are from their Limited Edition Kit.

To make the title card I used the Chiffon Cake 8x8 Patterned Paper from the Birthday Cake Collection, Paper Ribbons and Pink and Mint Ombre Washi Tape. The pink card is from their Limited kit and I just added enamel dots.

The journaling card is from the Marigold Collection, and the star paper is called Baby Hope and it's from the Baby Claire Collection. To put the caption of the photo I used a Bookmark Tag from the Marigold Collection. I am obsessed with Confetti Pockets and I love to put these enamel shapes on them! I love how the Retro Insta-frame looked around the shapes!

The both cards are from the Lime Sherbet Journaling Cards Pack.

I love how Bookmark Tags fit perfectly in these pockets! This pink one is from the Neapolitan Collection. The pink stickers are the Baby Phoebe Pink Dot Alphas.

I stamped the sentiment from the Limited Kit Stamp Set with two different inks to give the illusion of a shadow.

Yesterday was my birthday so I give you permission to buy yourself something nice! Use these codes to get some discounts!

I hope you are enjoying this hop as much as I enjoyed making these projects!
