Enjoy The Journey

I wanted to share a tag I made, trying to be Tim Holtz,
which I am so not Tim Holtz, sadly :(
I love this vintage style!!
I used some homemade mists and distress inks.
You know, when you watch a Tim Holtz video and
he makes 10 tags and whole wall piece in 10 minutes
and you get all cocky with your distress inks thinking is
going to be that easy. Ehhh.... not!!
It takes me like half an hour to get to this
and they are never as amazing as Tim's.
Practice makes perfect!! So I'll keep trying...

I used the Resist Emboss Technique
with white embossing powder.
These stamps are from Tim Holtz
which Santa made in the North Pole.
I also used Rusty Hinge, Mustard Seed, Barn Door,
Vintage Photo and Peeled Paint Distress Inks.

I hope you liked the tag!!
Take Care!!

***Is Three Kings Day!!***
Feliz Dia de Reyes!!
I am from Puerto Rico and on January 5th the kids
get a shoebox or any box of that size and put grass in there for the camels, because you know, the come from so far
they get hungry. On the 6th the camels eat the grass and
the Kings leave you presents.
This year since it will be my first Three Kings Day on USA I thought that I should keep the tradition but the grass doesn't look to good. Sorry camels... a gift card to Olive Garden should do the trick, right?
Then the children put the grass under their beds which I don't do, I put it under the tree to avoid waking up my daughter and then the Kings leave you gifts :)
If you celebrate Three Kings Day have
a great and amazing day with your family.
I hope you get nice gifts :)
If you don't you can tell the hubby you are trying a new culture and buy something for yourself so you can celebrate too :)
